Direct duel in the Play-in zone on the Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz court

Valencia Basket men's team faces a direct duel within the Play-in zone of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague visiting the Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz court (Friday 26, 8:30 p.m., Fernando Buesa Arena, Movistar Plus+) in a game which closes round 23 of the maximum continental competition.

 

After three wins in a row, the Taronja squad will try to extend this good dynamic on a court that historically has not been good for Valencia Basket and where has only been able to win in one of its five previous visits in the Euroleague.

 

A win would allow the Valencian team to equal the balance of the Gasteiz team, stay in the positions of the noble zone of the standings for another week and also break their recent bad streak against this rival, since the taronja squad have lost in their last seven games against Baskonia.

 

Although Stefan Jovic and Bouba Touré missed Sunday's game in Zaragoza due to back problems, only the Senegalese center remains out of the training dynamic and will be sidelined for this game, so coach Álex Mumbrú will have to choose from the fourteen professional players available.

 

Valencia Basket is currently tenth in the standings with a balance of 11-11.
